Liz Gillham is an author with a love of storytelling, animals and mysteries. Her books are inspired by the characters, places and everyday moments that capture her imagination, often blending adventure, humour and heart. She enjoys creating stories that draw readers into intriguing worlds filled with memorable characters and unexpected discoveries.

Liz is the author of the Belle & Dixie’s Mysteries series, a collection of cosy mysteries filled with secrets, suspicious characters, humour and unexpected danger. At the centre of the stories are teenage sleuth Belle and her lovable Bernese Mountain Dog companion, Dixie, whose curiosity and remarkable nose have a habit of leading them straight into trouble.

Dixie was inspired by Liz’s own Bernese Mountain Dog, who first appeared alongside her other Bernese Mountain Dog, Fizz, in stories written for her blog. What began as a way of sharing their adventures gradually grew into a long-held dream of creating a complete series of books inspired by them. Through Belle and Dixie’s mysteries, she is delighted to keep Dixie’s spirit alive while sharing her love of dogs, storytelling and intriguing mysteries with readers.
